# Privacy Policy

AnyPiP does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Everything it captures stays on your Mac.

## Overview

AnyPiP is built by Frmwrk Software Private Limited. It runs entirely on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit or store your screen content or any usage data.

## Screen capture

When you select a region, AnyPiP captures that part of the window with Apple’s ScreenCaptureKit framework: as a live stream, or with Snapshot capture on, as screenshots at the PiP’s frame rate. Frames are displayed in memory and are never recorded, written to disk or sent anywhere.

No screen content, captured region or frame is stored, logged or shared with third parties.

## What stays on your Mac

AnyPiP keeps your settings, such as its shortcuts and preferences, and the total time your PiPs have been open in your Mac’s local preferences. They never leave your Mac.

## What we do not collect

AnyPiP has no third-party dependencies. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, and it sends no data of its own. We do not collect:

- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Screen content, captured regions or frames
- Crash reports
- Cookies or tracking identifiers

## System permissions

AnyPiP asks for one macOS permission, and one optional. Both are managed entirely by macOS, and you can change them at any time in System Settings. AnyPiP does not need Accessibility access.

- Screen Recording, to capture the region you select
- Notifications (optional), to show Notify’s alerts as macOS notifications

## Purchases

The free trial and the one-time unlock are In-App Purchases through the Mac App Store, processed by Apple under its own privacy policy. AnyPiP does not receive or store your payment details.

## Email communication

If you contact us, we receive your email address and message content. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list unless you explicitly opt in.

## Data retention

We retain email communications only as long as needed to provide support. We do not retain any other user data because we do not collect any.

## This website

This website is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard request logs, such as your IP address and browser, to run and protect the service.

It uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. For each page view it records the page address, the site you came from, your approximate location, and your browser, operating system and device type. It sets no cookies and keeps nothing that identifies you: visitors are counted with a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and the figures are only ever seen as totals. Videos on this site play in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, which loads only when you press play. From then on, Google may collect data under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If AnyPiP ever introduces features that process data outside your Mac, those changes will be clearly disclosed before release.
